Manual Driving Lessons
Lessons are conducted in a Manual Car.
Current Prices:-
£65 per two hour lesson – all lessons are 2 hours. Once independent driving (test level) is achieved and a test is booked you may be advised to switch to 1 hour lessons depending on the wait for your test.
2 hour Pre-test assessment & Advise = £80. For people wanting to take a test in their own car but unsure of what to do.
Block bookings are only available only after the first lesson, please call for more information.
Lesson Fee’s should be available 48 hours before the commencement of prearranged lessons, with a 24 cancellation policy. (This includes any changes in arrangements)
Other than those paying in cash through prior arrangement.

Please note that All driving instructors are self employed and need a degree of Reliability & Security with earnings. Unless otherwise stated or arranged, it is expected that you agree to conducting a weekly lesson up to a driving test, barring holidays, school exams and pre-arranged dates are acceptable.
Holidays/breaks longer than 2 weeks will need to be discussed as positions will generally not be held open for long periods due to loss of income.
Canceling a lesson:- 24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson or make any changes, i.e. payments wise, times, days etc.
Less than 24 hours notice will warrant the loss of payment. Where possible a lesson may be moved to another available slot if available but only within the same week. (Monday to Saturday)
Same day cancellation will result in loss of payment or expected payment in lieu of lesson.
Please note: CANCELLATIONS: More than 2 consecutive short notice, lesson cancellations will end your driving lessons with Daves Driving School and any discounts will be forfeit with full fees being taken before any refund is given. (note: discounts have no monetary value)
Obviously Illness is always likely and can be discussed.
Lessons will be 2 hours in duration unless otherwise arranged.
Driving tests:-
As per DVSA (driver & vehicle standards agency) guidelines. I will only allow a Driving test to be taken in my car if you are able to drive completely independently.

Having lessons with Daves Driving School is not a prerequisite to taking a driving test. Should you feel you are of an acceptable level but in disagreement with me, you are free to take the test, but in your own car.
( Please note – I am answerable to the DVSA for allowing pupils to take driving tests if not ready and as such will be held responsible when presenting someone for a driving test that is not able to drive independently).
As per Data Protection Act – All and any data will be completely deleted/destroyed after the cessation of lessons.
